In 2006 it become obvious that the Western Australian demand for precast concrete building components would continue to grow over time. The penetration of precast concrete as a cost effective building methodology is being adopted by a greater number of builders which was the precursor to Gocrete committing to a major capital expansion of its precast facility.

A world wide study tour was conducted in mid 2006 to ensure that the best technology available was introduced to Gocrete. The result is a new factory was built and commissioned in April 2008. This plant is designed to manufacture a full range of precast concrete wall and flooring components.

The attached video demonstrates the equipment that has been installed on the Gocrete premises. The actual configuration of Gocrete’s plant is specific to our site and this video is indicative of the equipment only and the type of robotics that is being introduced.
